The Escondido Gas Storage facility is being developed in the depleted Atkinson Gas field in Texas.

The facility will have 12 BCF working capacity and 3 turns per year. Planned pipeline connections include CPS Energy, Houston Pipe Line Company LP, Enterprise Texas Pipeline LLC, and potentially Transcontinental Gas Pipeline Corporation (Transco). Escondido plans to have storage capacity available by June, 2011.
